Where's Dr. Rhodes?

As I said in a previous review, this show was severely edited at times, and the endings can seem a bit rushed, and questions may not get answered, such as this episode. I assumed Gary Collins was in every episode, but he was nowhere to be found, as this aired on a station called MeTV. Perhaps Collins didn't star in this one, but according to the credits, several actors did, but they weren't in the version I just watched, so maybe there's truth to the show being edited. Sandra Dee(Alice)is the main star, as she's having visions of an old friend in some sort of trouble, and we get to see many shots of Alice's scared face, and more shots of a fire. This leads her to a local sheriff's office to do some poking around to help locate her friend, but he has no luck. An interesting scene has a local morgue worker(he looks the part too), trying to kidnap/scare/kill Alice in the dark night, but the mousy woman gets away, and eventually, she convinces the sheriff to find the girl's body(still alive)under a sheet in the morgue. The worker left her for dead after a car accident, but we're not given the exact circumstances, so again, blame the poor editing. The girl will be fine after a long recovery, and the worker got arrested. This show deserves some respect to at least have the entire episode aired instead of jamming everything together so quickly.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode left an indelible impression upon my 13-year-old mind. I have not seen it (nor any other Sixth Sense episode) since it first aired in 1972.

The images received by the Sandra Dee character... so very clear; so very determined was she to make sense of them.

And, so frighted have I been of live incineration, that it is only now, thirty-four years later, I have once again considered allowing my loved ones to cremate my remains after I leave this life.

That's pretty powerful stuff.

Kudos to the writers.

Sandra Dee Warning: Spoilers
I think the episode was incredible. Sandra Dee did a magnificent job displaying her emotions and I found it to be interesting when she kept looking into the camera. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a super fan of Ms. Sandra Dee, but the cinematography, and the editing. Definitely worth watching if you enjoy Night Gallery and The Twilight Zone. It's interesting that Gary Collins wasn't in the episode himself other than a host like Rod Serling, but it was rewarding to have Sandra Dee for almost an entire one-hour episode. Lenny Montana from The Godfather has a guest role on here as well, so it's plenty of reasons to watch it.
