Trivia:
The rotating ice tunnel featured here was at the time a brand new addition to the Universal Studios Tour called 'The Glacier Avalanche'. It was inspired by The Eiger Sanction (1975), but soon became linked with The Six Million Dollar Man. In 1997 it was redesigned to resemble the dormant volcano from Dante's Peak (1997) and again in 2001 as the entrance to The Mummy's Tomb. moreGoofs:
Continuity: When the aliens are examining Steve, he is undressed. When they test his bionic eye, he is wearing his shirt for a split second, then he is naked again. moreQuotes:
Jaime Sommers: [on phone in classroom] You're office told me that you and Steve were in the California Mountains. I, eh, what are you doing, fishing?Oscar Goldman: [on other line, on location] I wish we were fishing.

This is it. The grand daddy of them all. This is best episode of any television series ever. The Six Million Dollar Man meets Bigfoot is unparalleled in action, suspense and it's propensity to scare the hell out of you. What a concept. Steve and the crew are up north somewhere to investigate a mysterious disappearance of Marlene Becky. Once there Oscar and Steve encounter a guide of Native American descent and after examining one of the huge footprints, he deducts that it is the legendary Sasquatch. From there Steve Austin goes in search of the beast and when he finally encounters him, all hell breaks loose.
Andre The Giant plays Bigfoot, and he was built for this role. He exudes the fear that a beast like this would invoke on us. When the titans clash in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, I was afraid for Steve, when I was 5.
This is as good as TV gets and I am very much looking forward to the DVD's.
