Storyline
A mercenary-for-hire plans to assassinate several world leaders at a summit using a high powered laser beam that will bounce off a satellite unless Col. Steve Austin can infiltrate his base and stop the mastermind before he sets his plan into motion. Of course it involves a bit of a challenge: Steve has to be fired onto the villain's island lair inside a torpedo casing, climb a dangerous precipice, vault a 30-foot high electrified fence and break into a secure compound. And then, of course, there's all the villain's henchmen to defeat...not to mention his deviously beautiful accomplice who may not be all she claims to be. Written by

Goofs
When Steve tosses the grappling hook to climb the cliff, he is using a blue rope tied to the hook with a neat "compact" knot, but then the next shot of the hook sailing through the air is a reused shot from Steve's training session, with a brown rope and loosely-tied knot; then the shot of the hook catching on the cliff's rocks is with the blue rope and tight knot again.

A quality 007-ish script, the highly talented actor Mr Steve Forrest making trouble for all in the middle of nowhere, a sexy young girl in trouble, damaging laser beams, outstanding location-filmed action scenes...the 10th episode of The Six Million Dollar Man is one of the first hours of this series to be REALLY good!
I personally found the Six Million Dollar Man series to be very hit and miss, it hit when the show got a good guest star (such as Steve Forrest), it hit when it had quality action scenes covered with quality music. It hit when it had a reasonable script.
I don't call myself "a fan" of this series but rather someone who sometimes gets a huge bionic blast from it.
