Oscar and Rudy are performing a test on Barney Hiller to see if his bionic power can be turned on and off again when needed. A concerned Steve Austin proposes to keep an eye on Barney for the full 48 hours he has possession of his full strength. Even though Martin E Brooks had assumed the role of Dr Rudy Wells at the beginning of Season 3, Alan Oppenheimer returned to play Wells one final time in this episode. There were several flashbacks to the Season 2 episode "The Seven Million Dollar Man", in which Oppenheimer appeared. Rather than re-shoot the scenes using Brooks, it was more cost effective to have Oppenheimer return for this one episode. See more
The vault door never moves when Barney is supposedly forcing it open, yet the sounds of creaking tearing breaking metal are heard. Then in the later shot of the open safe door, the locking-pins are not bent or broken the way they would be if the door had been forcibly wrenched open. Obviously just an undamaged vault door that's been opened normally by someone who knew the combination. See more
