- Steve goes undercover as lumberjack 'Steve Parker' when a government agent goes missing after reporting a missile station near Wixted Lumber Camp.
- Steve is sent by Oscar to a logging operation to see why a government agent, Ben Cosgrove has disappeared. Steve goes undercover as a lumberjack to find out what is going on. What is going on is that a corrupt federal government employee, Dr. Morton Craig, has struck a deal with foreign powers to shoot down an airplane that is reported to have high ranking government workers. The logging company's owner is an attractive woman, Kelly, whose boyfriend, Jeremy, is the foreman for most of the operations. The business is deep in debt, and currently finds itself stymied to make payroll. Jeremy is skeptical of Steve, but brings him into the operation after Steve completes some bionics-assisted tree-falling. Eventually, Steve finds out that an abandoned storage shed is currently housing a pair of missiles (assembled slowly over the course of several weeks with selectively stolen parts, abetted by Dr. Craig). Jeremy attempts to murder Steve by dropping a heavy log right in front of him. Steve's bionics save him, but he's subdued for a time, which actually allows Steve to discover the final assembly of the rockets. But upon Steve's confrontation with Jeremy and Kelly, all three are captured by Dr. Craig and a group of assistants. Steve is then informed that Air Force One is due to fly over the logging camp (though the President himself will not be on it) and the plan is to use the missiles to shoot down the plane and the Vice President and cabinet members inside). Temporarily locked into the storage shed, Steve's bionics help him assemble an impromptu baseball which is used to disable an armed guard. A couple of sticks of dynamite hurled at the missile launcher takes out the missiles just in time. The epilogue to the episode finds Oscar explaining that Jeremy will have to do some time for his role in the plot (he did not know about who was on the plane) but since he helped to capture Dr. Craig, the judge is hinted that he may be lenient.
