Trivia

The patrol boat used in this episode is the same one, albeit with some modifications, that was used for scenes of the PT-73 underway in the high seas in the television sitcom, McHale's Navy and the two feature films based on the same series.

The modifications were done by an owner when the boat was sold by Universal after the cancellation of McHale's Navy. See more »

The Diving Bell
27 May 2015 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

Steve Austin(Lee Majors) is inside a diving bell in the ocean placing new earthquake detecting sensors on the bottom when the private research ship that brought him there is hijacked by a hostile military government that has just broken off relations with the United States, and the general in charge severs the lifeline to the diving bell, taking the crew hostage. Steve(of course) escapes and makes his way to shore in order to rescue his friends, but a traitor among them may endanger all their lives as they make their escape back home, where Oscar Goldman(Richard Anderson) awaits with naval assistance. Mediocre plot but still reasonably exciting.
