Harold Mossback falls asleep but doesn't wake up on a bus tour in Seattle, where his kids hire the Fishers but insist he should transported by land back from LA since he feared flying in life. Unable to get any transportation services, Nate chooses to fly to Seattle and stay at his ex-roommate Lisa Kemmel's, then transport him by rental-car, offering to take Claire along for the ride (and to help drive). David is stuck sitting Taylor for Keith when he's stuck on assignment for several hours, annoying Rico and causing Ruth, now trying to contact old friends and estranged relatives to discuss their relationships, to remind him he shouldn't be too candid on his gayness with a child still "developing her blueprints"...until David advises her to mind her own business and drop the metaphors. Brenda, still fantasizing of seeing other, preferably dangerous and exciting, men, is called to be with her mother in an "emergency", only to discover she wanted attention as she stalks then attacks a ... Brenda Chenowith: Why am I here? Why was it necessary for me to be here with you for this? Because you needed a fucking audience!
Margaret Chenowith: Not everything is about you, Brenda.
Brenda Chenowith: Look at mammy! Isn't mammy pretty? Isn't mammy fabulous, free spirited and uninhibited. Validate mammy kids, because she's incapable of doing it herself. No wonder Billy ended up in a psych ward. Not that you care!

Introduction of Lisa: an important character for the series.
18 February 2011 | by (Turkey) – See all my reviews

After a man dies in Seattle, Nate and Claire goes to pick up the body and bring to L.A. Nate and Claire spends the night at his old roommate Lisa. We find out Lisa has feelings for Nate and they slept each other for several times. During that time Nate vomits because of his disease and has to tell Claire.

David babysits Taylor-Keith's niece- while Keith is busy at work. He finds out Taylor doesn't like Eddie and it makes David happy.

Ruth, still a 'Plan'er, contacts with people she doesn't see or isn't close anymore.

Margaret calls Brenda for an emergency about Bernard, but Margaret makes a scene with the woman Bernard is seeing. She has an argument with Brenda because of this and it ends up bad.

An unhappy Brenda thinks of having sex with the man from the restaurant.

I don't like Lisa in the third season but in this episode she's a nice person. Brenda's prostitute client will affect her this season as they become friends.

Driving Mr. Mossback isn't one of the best episodes of the show but it's revealing and a very good episode. 9.0/10
