When Keith is working as a bodyguard for popstar Celeste he remarks that she is considering acting in an English language remake of a Japanese horror film. This is an in-joke on Michelle Trachtenberg who played Celeste as her Buffy co-star and onscreen sister Sarah Michelle Gellar was filming the English language remake of Japanese horror film The Grudge at the time.
