Storyline

In a loose - and acknowledged - take on 'Evita' Lisa becomes the students' president, undergoing a glamorous make-over in the process. However Skinner uses her as a scapegoat in order to trim various subjects from the school curriculum and on discovering this and persuading the kids that she has been used, Lisa leads them out on strike. The strike is supported by other unions - and Michael Moore, who comes to give advice - and, after an attempt to move Lisa to another school thwarted by Homer, the subjects are reinstated. Goofs

The first time we see Otto's schoolbus, the city/school name is misspelt. Partially obscured by Superintendent Chalmers, the side of the bus reads: "GFILED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" (12:50 on the DVD release). Also, the seats inside are green. Later (19:35 on the DVD) the word "SPRINGFIELD" on the side of the bus is correctly spelt, and the seats inside are reddish. See more »
