For me season 14 was when the show eally started to lose its spark but this episode is a gem. Even if just for Skinners annihilation of Jimbo with "you mean your dad the raging alcoholic?". Emotional damage.

Lisa takes part in a spelling competition, while Homer goes on a burger tour in this fun, but not overly funny, episode from the 14th series.
That's not to say it isn't fun, because it is, but the ending feels a bit rushed.
A decent episode of 'The Simpsons' still remains better than most other comedies on tv though.
