Goofs

The group sings at the local church with a sign outside displaying the group name: "The B Sharps". However at that point in the story, they hadn't come up with a group name yet. While this most likely is a simple continuity error, it could be a result of the moronic Homer telling the story and getting things wrong. See more »

The Season Five opener Homers Barbershop Quartet is an absolute classic Simpsons episode, its well put together and well thought out.

When The Simpsons go to a Swab Meat convention they find an old CD for a band that Homer use to be in,Bart and Lisa cant remember it so Homer tells them the story.

Homer,PrincipaL Skinner,Apu and Chief Wiggum use to sing on stage at Moes, they then get signed up for their own famous band but they have to kick Chief Wiggum out and then they replace him with Barney after hearing him singing in the bathroom.
