Following the demise of 'The Springfield Shopper' 's restaurant critic,Homer gets the job,though he is so illiterate he has to dictate his reviews to Lisa. They are all positively glowing and the other critics suggest he write adverse reviews for a change,which he does. As a result the restauranteurs all plot to give him his come-uppance at the Springfield Food Fair,which they surely do. Written by

Did You Know?
Although the full frontal nude scene of Bart in the Simpsons film caused much controversy, this episode was the first instance of a Simpsons character's uncensored genitalia being shown. When Homer looks up the front page of the newspaper from the day he was born, the photo of him is clearly anatomically correct. See more
When Homer is writing his first review, Marge tells him there is no "e" on the typewriter, but when the editor reads his review he says that Homer used words as "pasghetti" and "screw Flanders", meaning that he did use the "e". See more
