I never cared for sitcoms that try to have you learn an important life lesson in every episode in lieu of actual comedy. They should be called sit-lessons. I accidentally caught this from the beginning and figured I'd give it a chance. From the moment you realize the scenery chewing Joey Lawrence and his family live in a cave it's impossible to stop laughing. Then his dad goes into a monologue about how less than a year ago they had a nice house and a brand new car. He ends it by saying "And now we live in a cave...". The audience gives a fake sad response and I'm rolling on the floor. How do you go from a brand new car to living in a cave in less than a year? Where do you even find a cave? If you lose everything over night you deserve to live in a cave. This is a classic example of a terrible sit-com.
