- Ricky insists on going to a public school so he can be more of a regular kid, but sticks out for being rich and gets a black eye from the school bully. Determined to not let Ricky get hurt, Edward hires Mr. T as his bodyguard.
- It's Ricky's first day at public school, and his dad wants to make sure he's adequately prepared. When Edward hands Ricky some milk money, he notices that it's a $100 bill. Ricky returns the money, saying he wants to be a regular kid and it'll be hard for him to blend in with such a large amount of money. Edward gives Ricky what appears to be a smaller bill (denomination unclear) and says he supports his son's desire to be a regular kid, but still sends him off with a butler in a limo.
That afternoon, when Ricky returns home from school, he has a black eye, which Edward immediately notices. Ricky confesses that he got pegged as a rich kid when some other kids saw him getting out of the limo. To make matters worse, a bully named Ox beat him up when he refused to hand over his milk money. Edward says he's transferring Ricky to a private school, but Ricky asks him not to do so.
The next day, Ox collects the milk money from the other students in Ricky's class. Ricky again refuses to give Ox his money, and Ox says he'll have to beat him up again. Just then, Mr. T bursts into the classroom, saying he's Ricky's personal bodyguard. Mr. T quickly puts Ox in his place, then takes a seat behind Ricky. Miss Campbell, the teacher, enters and nervously conducts a history class with Mr. T present. When Mr. T's actions end up giving Miss Campbell an anxiety attack, she leaves the room, causing the students to start throwing paper wads at each other while Mr. T shields Ricky with his body.
After school, Ricky tells his dad they have to talk. He says he's never been so humiliated, as Mr. T scared the other students and the teacher. Edward says he wants Ricky to be safe, but Ricky says he's now become a laughingstock and his classmates hate him. He adds that he doesn't want a limo or a bodyguard, just the chance to handle his problems his way.
Edward tries to get Mr. T to convince Ricky that he needs a bodyguard, but Mr. T sides with Ricky. Edward and Mr. T get into a heated discussion. Mr. T says he's much bigger than Edward, but Edward says he'll stand up to him anyway. Mr. T then says that Ox is also bigger than Ricky, so Ricky should also have the same opportunity. Edward finally relents and apologizes to Ricky, saying he only wanted to protect him. Ricky accepts his dad's apology, then tells Mr. T he can leave.
The next day, Ricky's classmate Clarence says that Ox will get him now that Mr. T is no longer there. Ricky tries to rally his classmates against Ox, but fails to get support. Ox bursts in and threatens Ricky and Clarence. Ricky refuses to back down, and Ox throws a couple of punches at him. Ricky fights back, knocking over Ox with Clarence's help. Ox confronts Ricky and Clarence, but the rest of the class jumps to their defense. Unable to fight them all, Ox finally backs down, taking a seat. Ricky orders him to face the front of the classroom. As the rest of the class cheers, Clarence tells Ricky that even though he's rich, they still consider him one of the gang -- a regular guy, which Ricky appreciates.
