Actually, for that first stretch, I would have awarded a much higher score. This is THE seminal episode of the Ryan & St. John part of the series. It goes along absolutely awesome until the scriptwriter goes into supernatural mode again with whimsical effort and ruins everything and the whole thing derails about a third of the way in because of Tom's out-of-body experiences... man, it was going so good. Key witness Tom gets shot, and in the hospital, Cassy tells his comatose body exactly how much she still loves him. I just submitted that to Quotes so check it out, check it out. The early part of the episode is worth a 10 by the series standards. The supernatural bit is however taking it too far. The whole thing gets ludicrous. But Janet Gunn is unforgettable... wow wow wow. A treat for fans. Do however take a look at the Goof I submitted. Tom's head injury is too serious to be ignored for rest of series.
