A very memorable start.

Just who is Body number ten? A fire at a small cinema leaves one body without an identity, Sam uses a facial reconstruction to put a face to the body, the only lead comes from newly promoted DCI Michael Connor.

I can always remember to things vividly from this, the harrowing opening scene with the people trapped in the cinema, and it was the first time I was ever aware of the facial reconstruction technique, in those two points I found this one memorable, it still holds up well today. Nice to see Nick Reding back as Michael, they'd been quite harsh with getting rid of characters and never mentioning them ever again.

I think this one's pretty good, putting the skills of a pathologist to the ultimate test, identifying an unknown body. 8/10

Too Much Too Soon

The basic premise is very good. We have several people, burned beyond recognition when a fire breaks out in a small independent cinema. Sam is brought in an is soon working with a former police boss who has always been in love with her. The late nineties technology is fascinating (e.g. the use of facial recognition software). Things fall apart when Sam falls head over heels for the guy she just got off because his murder victim was still alive. It seems almost contrived and utterly unrealistic for one as cautious as Sam.
