As Dutch and Claudette continue to pursue a rapist who is targeting elderly women, the arrest of a local gang member threatens to expose the Strike Team's involvement in the money train heist.
This show is being criticized for not being real! I must admit that sometimes i had issues with the topics presented to us. Of course it is over the top. But isn't that the function of a drama! A drama deals with real matters with some exxageration only to make an impact on us and touch us. And that is exactly what this episode does. Aceveda,an ambitious man,who does try to do some good gets assaulted in such a way that I seriously thought why he let that happen to him. Didn't he have other options? Well, as he said himself he has a wife and baby which he has to take care off. You could argue that he is a coward. And only tried to save his own skin. But to be fair he was put in a tight spot! Two goons against one man. And until you have been in the same situation as him you can't tell what you really would do. Although I was somewhat disturbed by the assault on Aceveda,it does presents us with a situation that could happen. And it was nice to see that Vic (Aceveda's nemesis) came to his rescue. This episode is an example of how intense the drama is in "The Shield". I can understand that this show isn't for everyone, but to me this is top entertainment!
