Great television, The Shield is captivating and has you on the edge. Mackey no matter how many bad guys he and his task force put in jail, is still the presence of evil. His flawed logic that justifies his stealing, lying, and even murdering has me wishing that he ends up in jail where he belongs. On the hand Kavanaugh is a welcome relief for me, He is the one that is going to make sure that these cops(criminals) walk the line, that the oath they took and broke does not go unpunished. I wish all internal affairs cops had that mentality, instead of that blue code of silence when slimy characters like Mackey are suppose to be trusted.
