When it was revealed that Danny's character was being fired, fans wrote the show in outrage. However when it was revealed that she was still a staring character in Season 3, it was soon revealed that Shawn Ryan did it just to get a rise out of the fans. Ryan the firing of Danny was an April Fool's joke.
