Evil Force
18 April 2014 | by See all my reviews

„The Darkness is a legend. It never existed", Kali believes. But when mysterious killings occur, Kali is suspected to have summoned this evil force. Cutter and Sheena want to protect Kali with the help of Rashid. Dula (Patricia Tallman), meanwhile, is wearing black because she's bad and wants the audience to know that. She is doing some research on dangerous animals and finds that „some are more vicious than others". Dula tries to put the legend about The Darkness to good use. Sheena will have to find out how, and by which animal? When Kali is attacked, too, she has to run for her life...

Not a particularly good episode as far as the story telling is concerned. There is some silliness (Sheena and Cutter dating) and clichés (dying baddie just living long enough to pass on an important information with his last breath), but on the other hand, the climax is a fight between the Darak'na and the 'Darkness', one of the most amazing action scenes of the entire series. Hats off to the stunt woman!
