Well, I made it through the whole episode, so kudos to them for that -- they managed to hold my interest with nothing more villainous than ants. For all the cheesiness of the premise, this is well-paced and largely believable. No point listing the coincidences and inconsistencies which make the plot work -- you'll just have to see it for yourself. FWIW, at one point both Cutter and Sheena have to strip naked, so you know it was interesting to figure out how to film around that :)

Invasion of the ants

Two tourists are driving across the country in a jeep rented from Cutter. They disappear, so Cutter starts looking for them, but soon Sheena and he are trapped in a small hut, surrounded by millions of ants, the so-called Marabunta. They have to find ways to defend themselves, and they must find a way out, or they'll be poisoned by the Marabunta's sting. However, Mendelsohn is trying to rescue them by helicopter – after all, Cutter owns him a hundred dollars...

Scary episode with amazing close-ups of hordes of hungry monsters. This episode was directed by Christian I. Nyby II, son of the man who directed „The Thing" in the 1950s, so he probably knew all about nasty creatures.
