You will NEVER guess who is after Marian's affections. And to make Shane jealous, Marian goes with it. It's a bit disgusting to see this shady and mean man being so nice to her, and it is almost more than Shane can handle.

Being the last episode, and I suspect they knew this would be the last episode, an event occurred near the end that left one to believe that had this show continued another season, we may see Shane moving out of the hired hand cabin and into the main one. But then we'll never know what happened. I guess the romantic at heart can decide for himself...

This was a very short-lived series. I thought it had a lot of promise, but then if we studied what this show was up against, we may get our answer as to why it didn't last longer than it did...
