After walking out on her date who turned out to be still married despite his claim to be divorced, Miranda is happy to be picked up by cocky barman Steve, who soon wants more then their one-night stand. Carrie believes her rekindled relationship with Mr. Big is good enough to get him to know her friends a little better. Samantha has an atypical lover, even for a man-eater like her: Donald Trump's single friend Ed is past 70, so will his old-fashioned wooing and lavish gifts outweigh his physical decay? This is the first time in the series that Carrie is seen using a cell phone. Indeed, early in the 4th season, when everyone is late for her birthday party, Carrie checks her messages when she returns to her apartment. One of them is from Miranda saying "Get a fucking cell phone!". Carrie finally gets her own cell phone in Season 5. See more »

Relationships Is Not Just Sex
3 September 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A frustrated Carrie tries to get Big to make time to meet the girls. Miranda meets Steve Brady, a cute bartender who wants to be more than a one-night stand. Samantha dates an incredibly wealthy man in his seventies with a sumptuous lifestyle and a pocket full of Viagra in The Man, the Myth, the Viagra.

This is a great start for the best romance of Sex And The City:Miranda and Steve.Probably even better than that of Carrie and Big.Despite the disparity of income,we have seen the happiness and struggles that both Miranda and Steve put on into their relationship to make it work. Also,we get to see that there are people who want to have a happy relationship and are sincere enough to make it work.Unlike Carrie and Big's relationship,it seems to me that only Carrie wants to make it work. Also, the struggles that Carrie has to put forth considering that Big is emotionally detached and unavailable.Sometimes, you just wonder why Carrie would put on a lot of effort in it.

With regards to Samantha,it was just funny that it shows that sex isn't everything in a relationship.Although the episode showed it in a funny way especially when she saw the old millionaire's bottom,in it we get to realize that there is more to a relationship than just sex. This was also proved by Steve when he tried to woo Miranda after spending one night together.
