Storyline

Miranda considered Sunday a nightmare because children swarm everywhere, there is even a family hour at her gym, but it did allow her to meet hunky Simon Cobb, indulgent divorced father of rascal Simon, who loves to push the elevator's buttons, and his; when Simon surprises her naked in the lo after a hot night, that signs her marching-orders. Carrie met fiction writer Vaughn Wysel at a lunch; he presents her to mother Wallis, her partner Duncan, a teacher, and sisters Franny and Zoe, who all insist she stays for a seafood feast; six hours later he can finally jump her bones, yet his sperm beats him to the post. She keeps dating and doing him for his whole family, mainly the fascinating mother, an Oscar-nominated documentary maker, despite his recurring precipitous wetness, but precisely her liberating education without sexual taboos proves unsurmountable. Charlotte receives her studly brother Wesley, about to be divorced from Lesley; he tickles Samantha's fancy at first sight. ... Written by KGF Vissers

Quotes

Samantha Jones: I fucked a guy once because his family had a pool. He was pretty much of a nerd, but I'd go over there and get all coca-buttered up. His mom loved me. She was always serving me Kool-Aid and chips.
Carrie: Kool-Aid?
Samantha Jones: Yeah, Kool-Aid. I was 13. And honey, you should have seen my tan.

The Good And Bad Of A Family
3 September 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Carrie dates an author who has a premature ejaculation problem and finds that she regrets having to break-up.That happens to be with his perfect family. Child-phobic Miranda dates a divorced father who has a son. Charlotte's brother Wesley stays with her after his wife leaves him. Samantha gives Charlotte's brother what he really needs: sex.All happens in Shortcomings.

In this episode,we get to see how family plays an important role in a relationship and in friendship as well.It maybe good especially when one is in a relationship.Unknowingly, this points out that we also miss them in the case of a break up just like with Carrie.Aside from that,it may also be bad especially when it does not provide us enjoyment nor great vibration. It can also be a hindrance in a relationship. Also,we also get to see how friends can provide assistance to family member just like Samantha did to Charlotte's brother.
