"Secret Sex" was the show's first episode to be directed by a man.
5 April 2006 | by (Brazil) – See all my reviews

Carrie finally has her first date with Mr. Big, using a dress she used in her publicity photos that makes her look like she is naked. Mr. Big and she had sex in the first date and just after that, they went to a Chinese restaurant. There, Carrie sees an old friend of hers called Mike Singer who didn't want to introduce her to Libby Biyalick, the woman he was going out. Later, Carrie discovers that she was his ''secret'',a person that even being great in many things, he was ashame to introduce. Carrie already was paranoid that she and Mr. Big would never see each other again after having sex in their first date, but when they go out again, and Mr. Big doesn't introduce her to a friend of him and they dinner in the same secret restaurant they did before, she stays worried that he is ashamed of her and that she is becoming Mr. Big's secret sex girl.

At the same time, Charlotte had sex with a hasidic folk artist (who looks a rabbi)called Shmuel that became her secret sex and Miranda discovers that Ted, the guy she is going out, likes to be spanked.
