- Miranda and Steve are finally feeling comfortable together, until she watches the laundry. Samantha has hot nights with a doctor, and decides to follow his example taking Viagra purely for recreational purposes. Charlotte is inspired by a book to start looking for a fiancé more methodically, and commandeers a wedded friend of hers, allegedly the ideal ally, to tell his friend Phil he is supposed to become her dream date - when he stands up the all too eager would be-bride at the opera, she goes with Carrie, who was just getting comfortable with Aidan but suddenly crosses glances with Mr. Big.—KGF Vissers
- Carrie obsesses about her perfect relationship with Aidan. Carrie is nervous as for the first time in her life, as there was nothing wrong in her relationship that she could figure out. Her life appeared to be sorted and in order.
Carrie discusses her problem with the girls and says that she is not used to plain sailing. She is used to the hunt. Aidan is effortless and this is freaking her out. Samantha supports Carrie and says that if Aidan seems too good to be trues, then he probably is.
She tries to find why Shaw is single even now. She can't take the pressure of this perfect relationship. Aidan suggests she meet his parents. Now Big was obsessed about keeping Carrie away from his parents, and here is Aidan who is offering both his parents on a silver platter to Carrie.
At first, Carrie loves the idea, but then she steps back thinking what if they don't work out. Shaw is cool with that (Carrie not meeting his parents). Then Carrie suggests that they see each other less, so they can miss each other more (Aiden is cool with that too).
Carrie calls Aiden, but he avoids her for 2 days. Carrie turns up to meet Aiden's parents. Aiden is cool with that as well and introduces her to his parents.
Miranda enjoys her intimate life with Steve. But Steve's underwear had skid marks and Miranda was doing laundry. She suddenly is not sure if she enjoys this steady phase of her life. She wonders if this is intimacy or falling into a rut with a guy who is just lazy.
Steve sneaks up on Miranda on laundry day and suddenly all is again good in Miranda's steady phase of life.
Charlotte has decided to ditch her girls and spend more time with married couples, upon reading a book to increase her chances of getting married. Charlotte hopes that her married friends will set her up with their bachelor buddies.
She goes for dinner with Dennis (Ethan Sandler) and his wife and asks for suggestions from Dennis's friends whom she could date. They suggest Phil and Charlotte asks Dennis to set her up. But Dennis starts screening her from that point on. Charlotte calls Dennis multiple times, but her calls are not returned.
Turns out Dennis was out on a business trip. He returns and calls Charlotte and sets up a date with Phil for the following day. Charlotte feels sorry for making a drama for nothing.
Charlotte takes Carrie to the opera and there she finds Big in the audience with Natasha. Carrie runs away from the Opera before Big can intercept her for a conversation.
The next day Charlotte finds out that Dennis didn't set up Charlotte with Phil as he himself was in love with her.
While escaping from Dennis, Charlotte falls in front of a cab and meets Trey (Kyle MacLachlan)
Samantha tries Viagra while sleeping with a Doctor Mark Raskin (Billy Wirth). The doctor is taking it in a recreational capacity and the sex is amazing. One night Samantha gives it a go as well. while Samantha has a great time with the sex, her doctor date feels she went a little overboard.
Next time the doctor date won't give Samantha a pill and she realizes she is badly addicted.
