Storyline

Carrie feels horrible that it didn't even cross her mind that Aidan, her best date since long, doesn't go for sex for the excellent old-fashioned reason he is still romantic- are modern Manhattan girls like her then just sluts, and is he serious, or, as Samantha suggests, becoming just a friend? Charlotte has a great lover, a gentle gentleman, with one flaw: without knowing it, he calls her bitch and whore during sex; when she tells the poor boy, he's as horrified as she, and as if God-struck impotent. Miranda discovers she has the VD chlamydia, so she calls all her 42 former partners, and Steve suffers an intimate test despite being monogamous. One of Samantha's countless dates accidentally allowed a violent robber into her posh building; as soon as the other tenants find out, she feels shunned... Written by KGF Vissers

Sexual Activity And STD's
4 September 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Carrie wonders why Aiden won't sleep with her even after a romantic bath together. But Carrie finally realizes that she's gotten used to skipping romance and having sex right away. Alexander Lindley, Charlotte's new boyfriend, talks too much while in bed, upsetting Charlotte. Miranda contracts an STD and has to let her previous boyfriends know that they might have an STD as well. Meanwhile, Samantha is forced to move when she's blamed for letting in a man who robs a resident at gunpoint.

This is a great episode as we get to see men like Aiden and Steve who want to got into a serious and sincere relationship instead of just having sex with a woman. It serves as an eye-opener especially when it comes to contemporary relationship which has become somewhat hedonistic in nature. Also,we get to see the effects of being sexually active especially after Miranda contracts an STD.Great episode!!!!
