Storyline

On their way back into the city Elaine, George, Kramer and Jerry find themselves stuck in traffic owing to the Puerto Rican day parade. An impatient Elaine abandons them and tries to get a cab but it's no faster. George gives up as well, hopping out of Jerry's car and going to a movie but has an encounter with someone who has a laser pointer. Kramer and Jerry have a running encounter with someone in a maroon Golf. When Kramer needs to find a restroom, a visit to an apartment that's for sale seems to do the trick. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

This episode, as it was the last scripted episode by the regular post-Larry David writers, before the finale(where Larry David again stepped up as writer for the first time in several seasons), had a record number of writers, totalling 10, including all the regular writers from the last seasons. The on-screen writing credits were credited in alphabetical order, without any ampersand(&) or 'and', dividing the writing into groups of team writers. Normally the absence of either ampersand(&) or 'and' between writing credits means 'and', but in this case it was/should have been on-screen divided with ampersand(&), as all the writers worked together on the script as a team, celebrating what would be their finale as writers for the show. Goofs

After Elaine gets out of the car, there's some stock footage of New York City traffic. The lettering on the taxis are reversed, indicating that the film has been flipped from left to right. See more »
