Plot Summary

  • Elaine accidentally steals a "Ziggy" cartoon and sends it to the New Yorker as one of her own. Jerry confides in Kramer that a fellow comedian, Sally Weaver, should quit stand up. Kramer tells her this and she then targets Jerry as the devil in her act. She gains popularity and gets her own cable special. George is dating a woman who looks like Jerry.

  • Jerry digs himself into of an embarrassing hole when he tells Kramer that an acquaintance, Sally Weaver, has a terrible stand up comedy routine and should just give up trying to get into show business. Kramer instantly blurts out the comment in front of her leading Sally to develop a new and very popular routine around the devil - otherwise known as Jerry Seinfeld. George meanwhile has a new girlfriend, Janet, who has a resemblance to Jerry which slowly begins to drive George crazy. Elaine for her part is frustrated by a New Yorker magazine cartoon and decides to submit one of her own. Only it isn't quite her own.
