Pool scene is at the original Marion Davies Ocean House pool. The pool ladders look original as well as the marble inlay edging of the pool. The scene of the hotel is at the smaller beach house structure that still exists. The design of the railings around the balconies look original. The Annenberg Community Beach House did preserve some the pool including the marble, but the ladders are replaced and the design of the balcony railings appears lost and not restored. See more »
These t.v. shows seem to be ahead of their time with the tech. data in regard to the scuba/underwater bits. In this programme it looks like Mike Nelson has a problem with his hands touching the chest/breast of "the Fe-male". The sequence in the cave a little into 2/3 of the show we see him fondle the Female, and look at his swim shorts, BULGING at the seams. I do enjoy this show probably for all the wrong reasons-like-looking at the guest stars and the swimwear/styles back then.To bad it was not in colour, the underwater photography is very good but then again back then Scuba Diving was dangerous and SEX was Safe! It also being an American production, Violence is O.K. but seeing Sex is a BIG Taboo. Or so it is in America still (hung-up on Flesh)!
