Goofs

After Ann sees what she believes to be a sea serpent, she writes on a slate "Come up" to warn her husband and Mike Nelson to get out of the water. The camera shows her quickly write, not print, on two distinct lines of text on the slate. But after the slate is thrown overboard, the next scene reveals the message neatly printed in all capital letters on one line of text, "COME UP." See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Mike Nelson: [narrating] I was diving in the Red Sea with my friend, Jim Barry, an archiologist. I was helping him on one of his projects. We were searching underwater for the remains of an ancient temple, which Jim felt was more than a legend. Suddenly Jim's wife, Anne, tossed our slate overboard. The slate said, "Come up". That could mean only one thing - trouble.
