"The Sprain"

Casey Kasem is hosting a dance contest at The Max. Two couples must join forces to win. Zack wants Kelly to be his partner, but he has to fend off Slater, and his lack of dancing skill. Zack lies to Kelly about being a good dancer, and turns to Jesse for dancing lessons. Zack manages to have fun learning to dance with Jessee, and decides to make Jessee his partner in lieu of Kelly. Jesse is having issues of her own with her height, and is worried nobody will wanna dance with her because of it. Meanwhile, Lisa is forced to have Screech for a partner when her first choice bails on her after Lisa sprains her ankle. Contrary to what some may think, this is NOT the first episode. The first episode was the 15th episode aired in the first season, called "King of The Hill" Anyway, this episode is so underrated! It has everything you love about this show. One thing really hit me about this episode. It was watching Zack & Jesse's amazing chemistry together. I did love Zack & Kelly together. It seemed to me that Zack & Jesse might be a little more compatible. I think they made the right decision in the long run, but they seemed to be testing the waters for a potential Jesse Spano & Zack Morris romance, as well as A.C Slater & Kelly Kapowski being together. Zack & Jesse did have a fling in the final season, but that's about it as far as I can remember. As I said. Zack and Kelly were meant to be, but I cannot deny the chemistry Jesse has with Zack. I had a huge grin on my face when I watched their dance rehearsals. They are natural and cute together. Jesse's struggle with her height made for a great storyline. I know that people struggle with that in real life, and I thought they shed some light on that here. I'd dance with Elizabeth Berkley any day. She's breathtakingly beautiful. It is also one of the rare times where you will see Slater & Screech have a heart to heart with each other. It happens once in a while, but not often. I don't care what anyone says, though. Slater's dance in the beginning was embarrassingly corny. It made me want to regurgitate in my mouth. Last but not least, "The Sprain" dance performed by Lisa & Screech is epic.

Final Thoughts: This episode is one of my favorites. It is highly underrated and tons of fun. There is something for everyone in this episode.
