Carrie Fisher tells a Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) joke in her opening monologue which includes a reference to Jabba the Hutt. The episode aired in 1978 but Jabba the Hutt didn't appear in a Star Wars movie until Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) in 1983. The explanation is that Jabba was mentioned by name in the original release version of Star Wars by Greedo and Han.
5 years before Princess Leia dons the famous gold bikini in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia) wears a gold bikini in a 60's beach movie sketch.
The theme music heard at the end of the "Mercy Killers" sketch will be used again, with different lyrics, as the "The Black Shadow" theme in Bill Russell/Chicago (1979), the "First He Cries" theme in Bea Arthur/The Roches (1979) and the "Micro Dentists" theme in Kirk Douglas/Sam and Dave (1980). All version are performed by Bill Murray.
