What's that horse doing in the kitchen
kevinolzak6 December 2016
"My Kingdom for a Horse" brings back Philip Bruns as Fred's buddy and accountant Calvin, previously seen in "Going Out of Business," who sells Fred the newly retired General Lee, hardly the racehorse that he expected. Grady is willing to bet a couple of dollars on the turtle he's racing against! Fred figures he can put the General out to stud and get rich on little thoroughbreds, but the only way he can hide it from Lamont is to leave him in the kitchen. Lamont arrives home, walks into the kitchen where the General stands, makes himself a sandwich, sits down in front of the TV, then questions his father: "Pop, what's that horse doin' in the kitchen?" "how should I know, you saw him last!" John Crenshaw (Ned Wertimer) is the Southwest's most knowledgeable breeder, who wants nothing to do with a gelding: "he had a horse-terectomy!"
