"My Fair Esther" spoofs MY FAIR LADY, the story of a Cockney girl transformed into a lady of society by a learned professor who falls for her, with Fred being Henry Higgins, Esther as Eliza Doolittle. Fred's 'science fiction special' is titled The Incredible Shrinking Sausage, as Lamont announces that they're members of the WBA (Watts Business Association). This also involves him being a judge in the Watts Business Wife, in which all the local wives are eligible to earn the $1000 prize. Aunt Esther is determined to enter, convinced that she's got what it takes: "when I was born my body was blessed by Mother Nature honey" "and as you got older it was cursed by Father Time!" The M.C. is played by Wilbur Hi Fi White, famed Chicago drag performer, announcing Esther's name among the three finalists, with Uncle Woody (Raymond Allen, third of nine) in attendance. The jabs fly fast and furious while Esther and Fred serenade each other.
