The Saint is invited to the wedding of his very rich friend Waldo Oddington to Nadine, a girl young enough to be his daughter. Other guests include Waldo's three ex-wives and his nephew George McGeorge, who is highly critical of his uncle's decision. On the eve of the wedding the Saint sees Nadine in conversation with a young man called Pierre who would seem to be her lover but she tells the Saint that she has finished with him. That night Waldo is shot dead and his life is found to have been massively insured. But who stood to gain by his death and how? The Saint must find out . Written by

The original story upon which this was based was called 'The Reluctant Nudist' and was set on the Ile du Levant on the French Riviera, a popular nudist holiday resort. The reluctant nudist was George, still disapproving of his uncle's relationship with a much younger woman, but the three ex-wives were written in to the television adaptation. See more
