I am sure glad that The Cowboy Channel is showing The Roy Rogers Show and The Lone Ranger every weekday. This episode begins with cantankerous Dan Barton being murdered from ambush. There are plenty of suspects, including Dan's young half Indian wife Ruby, her uncle Monty Elk Heart, and an old invalid newcomer and his daughter. Evelyn Finley plays Ruby. She had several acting credits but was primarily a stunt woman and was known as one of the best horseback riders in Hollywood. She does some good riding and stunt work in this episode, including a brief wrestling match with Dale. This is a very good episode with more plot and characters than usual.
