The Roy Rogers Show: Ghost Town Gold is a good old-fashioned western episode
8 September 2006 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

Pat Brady buys a ghost town in which its only inhabitants are a grizzled old man and his niece. Brady, along with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, arrive in time to stop a robbery of the old man who has a treasure trove of what is later found to be...well, I'll let you find out for yourself. That's all I'll tell you except to say what an action-packed episode this is! Roy as usual defeats the bad guys and there's an outsider that's not who he says he is. There's also some good action with horse Trigger, dog Bullet, and even Dale with a gun! One more thing, the bank teller is played by Rand Brooks who was once married to Lois Laurel, daughter of comedian Stan Laurel. By all means, if you love old-fashioned shoot-'em-up westerns, this one is well worth checking out!
