The town has Boys' Day which means two high school boys are elected sheriff and mayor. The boy who gets elected sheriff has a crooked uncle who uses his nephew to get control of some pasture land. This uncle commits murder to accomplish his evil goal. Since the real sheriff has gone fishing, it's up to Roy to get to the bottom of things. At the beginning of the episode, when the election results are counted, Pat gets the only vote for the position of dog catcher. Bullet doesn't like that at all and it's quite funny to see him convince Pat not to accept the office.
