Ranchers vs. Homesteaders
hogwrassler15 October 2020
While Roy and Pat have been in Kansas City, the government allowed homesteaders to file claims to public land used by the ranchers to drive their cattle to market. A homesteader's house has been burned and Roy, Dale, Pat, and Bullet find homesteader Frank Stewart shot and badly wounded. When they try to take him to the Clark's homestead, Jeff Clark shoots at them. Roy slips in the back door and bests Jeff in a go at fisticuffs. Meanwhile, Dale wrestles a rolling pin away from Jeff's wife Vinny. The misunderstanding is resolved and Frank eventually gets to the doctor. The sheriff is no help, claiming he "can't arrest everybody." Roy is a rancher, but he wants to find a peaceful solution to the range war. It won't be easy! Early in the episode, a funny scene occurs when Bullet licks Pat's face and Pat refers to Bullet as a "four-legged washrag!" Good episode with a lot of action and suspense.
