Prudence 'Prudie' Adams drives a very exotic looking "XP-755 Mako Shark I" with a double bubble top and side exhaust pipes sporting a gradient color paint scheme.
While many have noted that Prudie drives the XP-755 Mako Shark, it was not the prototype for the 1963 Sting Ray as the design was already in the final stages, based on the 1959 Stingray racer. It is seen in the Elvis Presley movie Clambake (1967). The XP-755 Mako Shark is built on a 1961 Corvette chassis and was used by VP Bill Mitchell for his personal transportation and later for Chevrolet promotional work, such as in Route 66.
Due to releasing the episodes out of the order they were filmed, Tod and Buz are back in the new 1962 Corvette again.
