Trivia

Max Evans' full name is Maxwell Evans, yet in this episode and Roswell: 285 South (1999), Michael nicknames him Maximilian, which is sometimes considered a character error. See more »

Goofs

When Michael is creeping into Max's bedroom through the window at the beginning of the episode, the digital clock beside the bed clearly shows "1:27". After Max lays out the sleeping bag for Michael and then climbs back onto his bed, the clock reads "2:23" even though supposedly only moments have passed. See more »

Quotes

Liz: OK, I'm still confused. If you crash-landed in 1947, are you really 16 or are you like 52 in a 16-year-old's body? Or do you guys just age differently? I mean, is like 1 alien year equal to 3 human years?
Max: You've thought about this a lot, haven't you?
Liz: Kind of.

Liz tries to maintain her relationship with Kyle despite her deep bond with Max; Michael is obsessed with the idea that there was another alien in Roswell in 1959 and tries to decipher the meaning of the flashes only he sees. Meanwhile, Liz suspects the new guidance counselor Ms. Topolsky is hiding something, especially when she sees her with Michael's file.

Liz and Max like each other, but they're both afraid to make the first move. You can feel the chemistry between them, they're adorable. And they are freaky. They barely smile and act all the time like they're really depressed.

In this episode we can see the beginning of a potential quest for self discovery and Liz's new developed paranoia that high school guidance counselors might be spies investigating if students there are aliens.
