Did You Know?

Brody at the alien museum asks Maria, "So what do you think of our new president?" The episode aired November 20, 2000 but when they were filming earlier, they would have assumed that by the time the show aired, the USA would have a new president elect. In fact, due to the Florida recount in 2000, the USA did not have a new president elect until December, after this episode aired. See more »

Maria: Hello? I'm singing on Saturday at the new performance space next to the museum.
Michael: Yeah. But I've heard you sing before. What's the big deal?

Dupes from NY....
31 October 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I absolutely love the show but this episode tried to create a NyC "badass" version of them and it was just awful. They should have done a better job with the whole New York thing or just have it all take place elsewhere.. I couldn't get past the horrid NY a native New Yorker (specifically from NYC/Long Island) these were possibly the WORST New York accents I've ever heard. I found myself cringing every time they tried. Maybe they shot too high. They were trying not only for New York, but for ghetto New was just horrible. In order I would say Jason Behr did the best job (I guess it would be equivalent to the fastest snail) and Kathrine Heigl is tied with Brendon Fehr as the absolute worst sounding Nyc ghetto kids.
