Julie Benz- Amazing Appearance
28 January 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this episode of Roswell, Julie Benz comes back as Agent Topolsky and warns Liz, Max, Isabelle, Maria, Micheal, and Alex about Alien Hunters. They do not trust her. Kathleen Topolsky makes several pleas and asks of meetings with the group. At the end, Topolsky makes an arrangement with Micheal after ram-sacking his apartment to meet her at Buckley Point. She promises she has the second communication stone. Micheal tries to get away alone without the group seeing him, however Maria catches him taking her keys. She leaves a note to the group telling them she is with Micheal and they are meeting Topolsky at Buckley Point. When they arrive, the sheriff arrives with a psychiatrist. He tells them that Kathleen is mentally unstable and has been in a mental hospital for a month but he has now found her and she is safe back at the institute. Max blames Micheal for the whole incident because he did not tell them, he had lied. In all of this, Micheal left his communication stone on the ground. The sheriff picks it up as the group leaves. We then find the psychiatrist drives to a junkyard, and is actually the alien transformer. He gets out of the car and walks away. Topolsky is on the road, alone, with the communication stone, proving she was telling the truth about these Alien Hunters. She stands there as the alien hunters in a car approach her. They capture her because she had not met with Micheal and take her away to be killed. This marks the end of Kathleen Topolsky's role in Roswell. Julie Benz did an amazing acting job in this episode! I love her character so much. I was sad to see her leave in a tragic way. This episode is one of the most intense episodes of the season. Julie Benz's character should not be forgotten in this episode.
