The Last Thursday in November (#8.8)
7 May 2017 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

It is Thanksgiving and DJ has a school play. Roseanne, Dan and Darlene surprise him by going there. The play shows pilgrims kill natives which upsets a lot of parents. But Roseanne supports it and the Connors invite the native director of the play to their home for Thanksgiving to learn their culture.

A huge disappointment compared to all the other Thanksgiving episodes. Instead of having a fun dinner with grandmother and everyone we get an "educational" episode. Not that I think that history taught is 100% accurate but the second version of her is neither. Sure. Natives were all peaceful and into gender equality. Don't make me laugh. But this is the attitude that fueled the current extreme liberalism that is all about hating white people and distorting history in their own way.
