Jackie judges Dan for spending time with another woman other than his wife (Roseanne), but Jackie went out dancing with another man when she was married to Fred, and even lied to him about it.
In this episode we see that despite now being rich, Roseanne still views herself a working class person and that she doesn't allow her newfound wealth to muddle her thinking. Especially during her confrontation with Dan.
At the beginning of the episode Dan Conner tells Jackie that Roseanne took the kids to the mall to "see that Dalmatian movie." This is an indirect reference to 101 Dalmatians (1996) which opened in theaters almost two months before this episode aired. Additionally John Goodman who plays Dan Conner worked with two stars of that film. Glenn Close who plays Cruella De Vil in the 1996 film worked with Goodman 14 years after this episode on the TV series Damages (2007) where Goodman had a large supporting performance in season 4. He also worked with Jeff Daniels who plays Roger in the 101 Dalmatians remake over six years before this episode in Arachnophobia (1990).
