Roseanne was pregnant for over a year. Roseanne first told she was pregnant in Roseanne: Nine Is Enough (1994) which aired 9/21/94. She would have to be at least a month or so along to know she was pregnant. So this was a 14+ month pregnancy.
Roseanne named her baby "Jerry Garcia Conner", after the late Jerry Garcia who died Aug 9th, 1995, just shortly before this show was to air. And this episode, full of psychedelic love, was dedicated to him.
This episode was during Alicia Goranson's short return to the role of Becky, Sarah Chalke, who was Goranson's replacement, makes a cameo appearance in this episode. She appears at the front door with children, trick-or-treating.
The original airing of this episode featured a different song than the one used in syndication. The original song in the show was "My Sisters And Brothers" sung By Jerry taken from taken from The Jerry Garcia Band live album, and later replaced with The Grateful Dead covering "Not Fade Away" from (Buddy Holly And The Crickets) ironically sung by Bob Weir.
