Storyline

Among the passengers on the latest train stopping in Avonlea are four people who have a range of history with Avonlea. The first is Arthur Pettibone, who is on a break to visit with Clive and Izzy. He promises Izzy that he will not argue with their father on this visit. The second is pretty Miss Greta Steig, who is on a probationary period as the White Sands Hotel new head housekeeper. Her employment is a bone of contention between Simon and Hetty. But those working with her may find her efficient ways just a little too efficient. The third and unexpected fourth are Sara Stanley and her nanny, Louisa J. Banks, respectively. It's been six months since Sara returned to her family home in Montréal. Sara's trip to Avonlea was originally planned to be without Nanny Louisa. Time has not healed any of the wounds between Hetty and Nanny Louisa, especially regarding Sara's welfare.
