The guys are asked by a priest to help a young single mother. They eventually learn that the father is a high ranking police man who is in line to be Chief. But they also learn that he is in the pocket of a mobster, who intends to use him to keep the cops at bay but fears that if this got out, it would blow his chances to be Chief, so they are trying to get rid of her.
