There's an episode like this on all shows, where the most endearing character, but not the lead, is threatened to possibly leave the show, in this case Charlie the pilot, who is seeing blurry in the air and the poor old guy is too proud (hence the title) to admit it. Ironically, this is one of the last episodes, so teasing the departure of a beloved character's in vain, it turns out.
